Change, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy

If you cancel your reservation 4 hours in advance of your scheduled pickup date and time, there is no cancellation fee. Official Ride is not responsible for missed/canceled/ diverted passenger flights, or any other incident which causes your failure to comply with the required cancellation policy. If you do not inform us about any delays or cancellations and if we are unable to make any contact with the registered contact person even after waiting for 20 minutes from the scheduled pick-up time, then the ride will be deemed as a no-show and will be discarded. So, make sure that you are on time at the designated pick-up location or notify us regarding any change to your reservation, as it might result in a no- show charge, equal to the full fare of the trip plus all other charges.


Wait Time for Domestic Airport Pick -up/Airport Transfer

beyond 45 minutes will result in charges equal to the transfer base rate plus the hourly rate prorated in 15-minute intervals. The rate will also be based on the type of vehicle requested.


Wait Time for International Airport Pick -up/Airport Transfer

Customers are permitted 90 minutes of wait time after the scheduled pick-up time. Wait time beyond 90 minutes will result in charges equal to the transfer base rate plus the hourly rate prorated in 15-minute intervals. The rate will also be based on the type of vehicle requested.


Wait Time for Non-Pick-up Airport/Point-to-Point Transfer

Customers are permitted 15 minutes of wait time after the scheduled pickup time. Wait time beyond 15 minutes will result in charges equal to the transfer base rate plus the hourly charge prorated in 15-minute intervals. The rate will also be based on the type of vehicle requested.


Holidays Rates

A fee of $25 U.S dollars applied to all trips during the following major holidays:

New Year’s Day/Evening

Easter Sunday

Memorial Day

Fourth of July

Labor Day

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day/Evening ($50 U.S extra fee applied)


Rush Hour Fee

A fee of $15 applied to Rush Hour between 2pm-7pm Monday through Friday


Extra Stops

If the included stop during a transfer reservation exceeds 15 minutes, the customer will be charged the transfer base rate plus the hourly rate for the vehicle in 15-minute increments up to 45 minutes (rounded up) for the time that the chauffeur waits. If there is more than one stop, or if the one stop lasts more than 30 minutes, the trip will convert to an hourly rate. The rate will also be based on the type of vehicle requested.


Surface Transportation Charge (STC)

STC is a surcharge based upon various overhead expense items. It is calculated as a flat percentage of the base rate.


Incidentals

Incidentals may include chauffeur hotel accommodations and meals, greeter fees, parking, port fee, special requests, tolls, and more.


Fuel Surcharge

The fuel surcharge for sedan or SUV services is calculated based on the Energy Information Agency’s published fuel pricing forecasts. The quoted amount may differ from the billed amount.


Estimated Inclusive Quote

Rates quoted prior to service are only an initial estimate of the cost of services. Wait time and/or additional services may change the final price.


Exchange Rate

Any quoted rate is based on the exchange rate in effect at the time of booking. The final bill will be calculated using the exchange rate in effect at the time of billing.


Hourly Charge

An hourly charge is applied for extra services when an itinerary is asked to be followed or the chauffeur is given extra instructions, typically involving multiple stops.


Child Safety Seats and Booster Seats/Golf Club/Ski Bag

Child seats are provided on request for a $10 fee per item.

Golf Club/Ski Bag $10 fee per item


Safety Belts

Official Ride requires passengers to comply with all local laws and regulations regarding safety belts and other equipment.

Chauffer Conduct

Official Ride maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding drug and alcohol use. If you suspect an employee or chauffeur is under the influence, please call 1-866-649-6868 or email us at Info@officialride.com to report the incident.


Pets and Service Animals

Animals, unless a designated service animal, should be transported in kennels or safe pet containers. If damages from the animal occur, a fee $250 U.S damage or cleaning fee may be charged based on the extent.


Lost Items

Official Ride assumes no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other items.


Nondiscrimination Policy

Official Ride provides transportation without regard to race, sex, color, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, gender identification, disability, or age.


SMS Text Message Terms & Conditions

Official Ride Alerts are SMS messages that include transaction and reservation information, such as pre-reservation reminders, notifications that your chauffeur is in route, and notifications that your chauffeur has arrived.


Acceptance of Terms

By using the Official Ride SMS services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.


Privacy Policy

Official Ride collects information from you to provide continuously improved services in the future. Information we collect may include a phone number, email, address, or other details. Your credit card may be asked to be provided for a trouble-free transaction. Information from your contact or address book may be collected when connected to our platform. If information is shared on social accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or others, all public information related to those accounts will be collected. When you offer us the use of this data, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to provide us with such information. Official Ride respects and protects your privacy and personal information.
